Inspiring stories about our strength and efforts facing daily challenges, and how we may work to reconcile with our inner peace, wellbeing, inner self, or simply put, our Self-Love.
In front of obstacles in life, the wisest advice we usually get is to adjust ourselves to the situation. And what if we learn to love and cherish ourselves instead ? As I am always full of doubts. How, why, when, who… And it has to change, little by little, we shall proceed to our self empowerment.
20 years ago, the child in me had her first period. The symbol to adulthood : responsibilities and judgements, in one day life has become way too serious.
20 years later, that girl in me begins to figure out her own adulthood, carefreeness and arguments, playing with this sacred seriousness. Because there’s a part in me that needs to be freed from all those strings, in order to be my best version. Bye guilt, bye shame, hello free mind.
Weakness makes us strong, fragility makes us robust.
Facing hard times where there’s nowhere to run forces you to set your priorities right. Because there’s no going back, only moving forward.
Sink into your thoughts, analyze them and assess what’s best for you, give it at least 5 minutes. And once your directives are set straight again, get up and move on.
There are times where a place is nice but someone’s missing, where the meal is wonderful but company’s missing, where a performance is beautiful but some claps are missing, where the feeling is good but warmth is missing. I feel trapped in a love bubble, losing breath. So bad there are times where I just can’t help but missing you.
Life is a journey, it takes you to many places either you like it or not. With challenges lurking around every corner, your efforts may always seem too small.
But outcomes rely on many little efforts.
And you might feel lonely sometimes, but there’ll always be someone waiting for someone like you along the way.
Because journey brings people together.
And life is full of new departures. So grab your courage, and get on the adventure!
Everyday we become tinged with pressure, stress and blues… They’re inevitable, and they hurt. We keep them behind high walls, trying to wash them away, little by little, every little day.
2020 | Covid-19
With this lockdown going on in the world, we might create less new connections, or have a hard time maintaining the regular ones. But eventually it’ll all get back on tracks one day.
So for now, let’s make out the most of it, by improving the relationship with ourselves.
As the noise behind screens can be good as it can be bad, can be beneficial as it can be detrimental, I build an even more private space in my private space to protect myself from it.
Do you sometimes get the feeling that, you live in your own mind space. And then there’s a flow, like a train, that brings stuff into your world.
Like a train of food, coming from the outside world to nourish your spirit. But there’s so much going on. You’d like to taste them all, good or bad, but you can’t have them all. And it never stops.
And the worst is, you know that when it does stop, it’ll mean the end of your journey.
Because time waits for no one.
Somewhere between comfort and discomfort.
Little by little I’ve learnt to face myself in the mirror, trying to get the person I’m looking at, and piece the broken parts together.
Wake up into sins, every morning.
Take the time to look into thy soul, to uncover thyself.
*I’m watching too much mystic stuff in this lockdown…
Don’t hate nor love because of Colors, but do it for what you see in the Person ❤️.
