Hi, I am Chia Huey

“When Design – Diversity – Development… Meet !”

– Background story –

A Paris-based multidisciplinary creative person with 7 years of professional experience in design, and 2 years in front-end development. I’m also trilingual and a visual code enthusiast. As a Malaysian who grew up in France and who worked for some years in Taiwan, I’m fascinated by all the differences and similarities found in the diverse cultures I came into contact with.

Initially, I was trained in languages and trade in France (Bachelor’s degree in Applied Foreign Languages with a specialty in International Trade) and then advanced my design skills in visual communication and cultural trade in Taiwan (Master’s level II in Creative and Cultural Industries with specialty in Visual communication).

Before all that, I’ve kickstarted my design career in magazine design and comic art. After my studies in visual communication, I got my design skills honed in design agencies, working on projects related to culture, arts, and retail. And recently, I’ve added intensive programming training to the mix.

This wide and diverse creative background allows me to always see the big picture and have a deep understanding of what is at stake in brand image, commercial strategies, and concrete knowledge of available tools and solutions to be efficient in conception, design, and production.
